SAFETY

Ducci is committed to a culture of total safety within our organization and worksites, starting with management and extending to every employee and partner.

We strive to keep safety at the forefront of everything we do through communication, collaboration, and technology – and our efforts keep our people safe. Safety is more than a division – it’s everyone’s ever-present responsibility.

RAISING THE BAR

Executive management leads the way with the “Raising the Bar” program

Executive Presence & Priority: Ducci’s President, Chief Operating Officer, and Vice President of Construction & Safety attend and lead all Ducci safety committee meetings, which also include our safety officers, all project managers, and more than twenty field supervisors. Executive management also leads project site visits alongside project supervisors with eyes focused solely on safety.

Collaboration & Proactivity: At each safety committee meeting, we explore industry trends, new products, and technologies, while reviewing every incident (including near-misses and good catches) thoroughly.

OUR COMMITMENT

Prioritizing people with training, communication, and policy programs

At Ducci, all employees are subject to pre-hire and random drug screening. Once hired, safety is constantly communicated – a vital part of the new hire orientation process. All Ducci supervisors are 30-Hour OSHA certified, and all field employees are 10-Hour OSHA certified.

On every job, at a minimum, we comply with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. Beyond that, we emphasize daily communication and participate in project safety incentive and recognition programs. We stay up-to-date with all equipment and designate a safety representative as required. Ducci also creates a site-specific safety plan, which includes job-hazard analysis, baseline PTPs, any reporting requirements, unique concerns, and more.

There is no higher priority than to send every employee home to their families in as good condition as they showed up to work that day — or even better, having become more aware of their surroundings and better prepared for their next shift.

ON THE JOB

Utilizing technology to improve communication

Ducci utilizes a web-based platform to provide real-time information to effectively communicate with our field crews. We believe our employees have the ability to provide the most accurate information regarding day-to-day project safety.

As part of our employee engagement, Ducci requests that employees voluntarily submit job site observations via a QR code to relay concerns or accolades on the project they are working on. This can be completed anonymously if the employee prefers not to be identified. These observations are instantly received by project staff, safety officers, and executive management.

We strive to be the most professional, safe, and preferred electrical contractor in our market.
