The introduction of Building Information Modeling (BIM) has forever changed the manner in which complex construction projects are being designed, managed, and created.

The use of digital databases and 3D or 4D models has made intelligent communication and information sharing between various parties in the construction process far easier and more sophisticated. Clash detection capabilities, construction models detailing schedule sequences, and operations models with hyperlinks to operational and maintenance data have significantly advanced the long-held conventional practices in these areas in the construction industry. Ducci remains at the cutting edge of these advances, utilizing the latest BIM products including: Autodesk with Navisworks Manager, and Navisworks Gatekeeper.

Ducci's in-house BIM Department consists of full-time CAD operators along with Superintendents and Foremen who possess extensive field experience in all aspects of electrical construction. These professionals have performed constructability reviews and MEP coordination on many of the most complex construction projects in the Northeast.
